Smith's Seal W/B is a single component urethane/acrylic-polymer based, high solids sealer for the decorative concrete. This product is clear, non-yellowing and easy to apply. Smith's Seal W/B offer great improved chemical resistance when compared to standard acrylic based curing and sealing compounds. The product has been formulated to seal and protect Smith's Color Floor, Color Wall and Color Accents by producing a hard, yet flexible, clear film. Smith's Seal W/B is a low level VOC formulation which meet both the South Coast AQMD and EPA standards. This single component sealer was specifically developed for the residential decorative concrete market.

Smith’s Polyurethane SB is a dual component acrylic urethane film forming sealer applied as a protective or maintenance coat over Smith’s Color Floor, Color Wall and Color Accents. In addition to enhancing the color and depth of Smith’s stains, this sealer is Ultra Violet stable, fast cure, easily recoated and excellent stain resistant. Smith’s Polyurethane achieves a hard easy to clean film, which is resistant to hot tire pickup and superior abrasion resistance to single component sealers. The application of Smith’s Water-Based “W/B” Polyurethane over a base coat of Smith’s Polyurethane SB is recommended for extreme surface wear installations. A low VOC version of this material is available to meet Specific Rule 1113 the 50 grams/liter VOC limit required by AQMD in California. This sealer was developed for excessive wear areas in residential and commercial installations.

Smith’s Water-Based "WB" Polyurethane is a high solids, dual component polyester/acrylic resin reacted with an aliphatic polyisocyanate. This UV light resistant sealer is recommended as a protective film for Smith’s Color Floor, Color Wall and Color Accents. The high abrasion resistance associated with this sealer provides a water-based non- volatile coating suitable for commercial applications. It offers high performance standards such as resistance to chemicals and hot tire pickup. This sealer was formulated for extreme wear surfaces in residential and commercial installations. Smith’s WB Polyurethane is below the VOC standard Specific Rule 1113 enforced by the Souh Coast AQMD.

Smith’s Cleaner & Toughener, “CT-8” is a dual purpose product designed for the preparation of concrete surfaces to receive Smith’s Color Floor. Initially, CT-8 acts as a detergent to clean the concrete surface. Secondly, CT-8 toughens the surface of the concrete by interacting with weak spots created by un-reacted calcium hydroxide. CT-8 is biodegradable but should not be discharged as a powder or an undiluted cleaning solution directly into streams, ponds, lakes, etc.

Smith’s Base Boost is a blend of silicates used as an additive to Smith's Color Floor and/or Smith's Color Wall to promote substrate adhesion for base or primary colors as well as increase the stains durability. Smith's Color Floor and Color Wall stains already achieve superior mechanical adhesion as a result of the modified acrylic carrier, but adding Base Boost into the Smith's Concentrate produces an additional bond by reacting with the unhydrated calcium hydroxide found in the concrete . Smith's Base Boost should not be used for application to overlays, previously coated substrates, or as an additive for highlight colors.
