Being involved in the decorative concrete business we constantly found ourselves searching for better ways to control the quality of our product. 

We first used Smith Paints when trying to correct blemishes that had appeared on acid stain jobs.  During surface preparation the stains would come off but when the acid stain was applied some of them come back.  Smith was a great option as it offered the translucency and the colors of acid stains.  Using a faux painting technique we were able to disguise these unwanted markings.

We also found Smith Paints to be  one of the only stains that will adhere to previously sealed surfaces.  This allowed us to stain, seal and protect the floors prior to applying additional designs.

Many of our customers are using Smith Paints in lieu of release powders during the stamping process as it cuts down considerably on the time and mess.
