The phrase "a green company" is often used without a specific definition. What does it mean? Image-N-Concrete believes in order to be a green company disciplined action needs to be implemented in order to reduce waste.

What has Image-N-concrete done to uphold a green standard?

• We reuse or "self-recycle" materials in the shop
• Our shop separates glass, plastic, metal and paper from our waste stream for recycling
• We carefully measure each pour to reduce excess concrete production
• Locally available materials are used whenever possible
• Our work shop uses radiant heating and cooling which have cut our cooling and heating bills by close to 40%
• Local recycled glass aggregate is used in some of our pieces
• We use water-based sealers when possible which are safe to apply and environmentally friendly
• We use energy saving light bulbs in collaboration with motion sensors to eliminate unused electricity in our workshop
