Residential interior – Resurfacing – Cherry Creek Town Home

Our client had a special request. She wanted a floor that was pet friendly. Her companion, Olivia, is a great friend but like any animal is a little to hard on carpet or even hardwood floors. We looked at two options, staining or overlaying. Our client chose the overlay as it not only added color but texture as well to help conceal the daily pet hair. This was a perfect choice since the concrete had numerous imperfections found once the carpet was pulled. We used a bark brown color that can best be described as “leather brown bomber jacket” with its great highs and lows. The result was a warm stylish look in the home and an easy to care for floor for the owner and the pet to enjoy.

Residential interior – Resurfacing – DU Neighborhood

Our latest project was to complete the game room floors at a home in a sophisticated neighborhood close to DU. With a Tuscan flair throughout, we took one of the iron chandeliers in the home as our inspiration piece. We used the design to create the medallion in the bar and to create the design greeting family and friends as they come down the steps. The floor was done in a warm fawn color to keep with the natural feel and large 18 by 36 tiles were placed in an off center style pattern. The builder liked the look of the design so much he has chosen to repeat it on the iron door for the wine room. Once the lighting is completed additional photos will show how inviting this room turned out! These floors will be very easy to maintain making the homeowner comfortable with having play and beverages in this room.

Exterior Residential Overlay - Resurfacing – Front Entry and Front Balcony – South Denver

Our clients wanted to improve the curb appeal on their new home. This newer home in the DU neighborhood had everything except for a little style on the walkway, front entry and side balcony. The surfaces were finished with plain gray concrete which stood out among the other high-end finishes. In addition to the lack of style our client also had concerns the step could become a hazard as it was difficult to see. We created some designs to blend with the iron work already present on the front yard. The designs were embossed on both the vertical and horizontal plains of the step. The designs are slightly raised giving the step some additional dimension. The color selected was bark brown that pulled from the hues on the existing copper downspouts.

Indoor Stained concrete – Workshop showroom - Larkspur, CO

In an attempt to have a good showroom we are slowly finishing our workshop floors. We want to have as many samples as we can so our customers can get a good idea of all the different techniques we offer and the multiple color options. We hope to be able to create a very artistic space. This design was used previously on an outside concrete courtyard. We changed the colors and added a two tone background for some drama and color showing. We also incorporated a border on each side utilizing opposite colors. The exposed concrete wall will be next…

Interior Residential Overlay, Denver Colorado

This client is a young couple who wanted to create a space to entertain and for their young family to enjoy. The selection was a warm amber color. The design was large 4 foot squares through the main room including the bar area. For the bathroom we maintained color continuity but changed the pattern to 30" by 15" rectangles placed in an off-center pattern imitating the tile work in their steam shower. To add some interest to the great room we incorporated a star strategically placed at the bottom of the steps to greet guests as they arrive.
