Interior - Stained Concrete
Interior Stained Concrete, CO - We had a brand new space that needed some character and life. The design was an inspiration from a colorful rug we found on the web. The rug design was rectangular and our floor was squared. Instead of stretching the image we just added a few additional geometric designs. The designs were engraved and then stained to give it the crisp edges. We achieved the vibrant look with the use of Smith dyes. This product has been a fabulous addition to our color range. Their translucent characteristic allows us to achieve the modeled effect with a much more controlled.

Interior residential – Franktown, CO - This home was built by the owner’s father. The area we stained had been covered with carpet for many years. Our customer decided to include some Celtic design to honor his Irish heritage. The old world look of the stained floor blends beautifully with the stone wall fireplace. The minor hairline cracks when stained only added character. The final result was a beautiful, very user friendly, easy to clean floor. The owner’s kids and pets can now have fun in this area not having to worry about spills. |

1600 Glenarm Office Lobby - We have recently completed another project in downtown, Denver. Next to Cooks Fresh Market you will find an office lobby leading to a second floor space up for lease. In order to welcome potential clients, we created an elegant floor with the use of circles and two rich earth tone colors. The colors were reversed from those we used on an earlier floor to produce a lighter and inviting atmosphere. An acid stain created the natural stone-look of the lighter color. Then, dies were applied to enhance the overlap areas creating a beautifully contrasted design. |
Cooks Fresh Market - Cooks Fresh Market will be opening its doors at their new corner location on the 16 Street Pedestrian Mall and 1600 Glenarm Place, downtown Denver. It was our pleasure to be able to create some designs that blend with their fresh décor and their bright and cheerful graphics. The concrete was left in its original color and only the designs incorporate color. The overall look is modern with clean lined rectangles that overlap each other creating additional hues of color. |
Residential-Interior - Our customer had great ideas on the desired look for each room. Our challenge was to deliver their vision in a cohesive manner that would allow the smooth transition from one room to the next. With the use of a repeated colors and border we tied it all together. Following are the rooms.
These photos are of the great room and kitchen. In these areas the design was kept large and simple. The great room used a dark color with large diagonal tiles. Into the kitchen we transitioned with a change of color and an off center rectangular tile pattern. |

Their dining room was large and elegant. It’s ceiling opened to the second floor increasing its majestic look. To take advantage of these attributes we stenciled a large 12 by 16 rug design into the concrete. We then added an engraved border that was utilized throughout the home to tie it all together.

The homes foyer became even more stunning with the engraving of a medallion in the center of the room. The customer had purchased a glass and iron door for this room. We took the iron work design to create a medallion. |

Two other designs were engraved in the home. The first was an oval design taken from the medallion and the other was a compass that was engraved in the study. The color in the study was similar to the great room but was left on longer to achieve a deeper tone. |

The parlor was adjacent to the foyer. We felt it needed to be very bold in order to draw people in. Using a combination of two tones and an overlapping circle design, the final look of this room was very warm and elegant. |
