Exterior - Concrete Overlay
Exterior Residential Overlay - Resurfacing – Front Entry and Front Balcony – South Denver - Our clients wanted to improve the curb appeal on their new home. This newer home in the DU neighborhood had everything except for a little style on the walkway, front entry and side balcony. The surfaces were finished with plain gray concrete which stood out among the other high-end finishes. In addition to the lack of style our client also had concerns the step could become a hazard as it was difficult to see. We created some designs to blend with the iron work already present on the front yard. The designs were embossed on both the vertical and horizontal plains of the step. The designs are slightly raised giving the step some additional dimension. The color selected was bark brown that pulled from the hues on the existing copper downspouts.

Exterior Overlay – Patios and walkways – Castle Pines, CO - Our clients own a beautiful home in Castle Pines. Unfortunately their patio was beginning to show signs of age. The top layer of the concrete began to flake leaving it rough and exposing some of the aggregate - known as spauling in the concrete industry. Our resurfacing technique starts with the thorough cleaning and removal of any loose material. The next step is to fill any holes and cracks and apply two coats of the overlay material. The spauling would have continued if the patio was not resurfaced.
To compliment the existing natural flagstone, we used similar color choices. We created an 8 inch grid pattern using the existing expansion joints and colored them slightly darker for a subtle contrast. We then filled each newly created rectangle with a flagstone design. The natural flagstone blended beautifully with the newly resurfaced patio. They are now ready to have many gatherings with friends and family.

Exterior Residential – Resurfacing – Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO - This beautiful home near the Garden of The Gods in Colorado Springs was lacking some curb appeal. The front steps had two different pours of concrete that made it look very patchy.. To dress up the entry we used a flagstone pattern throughout. We selected earthy colors to compliment the beautiful stone pillars. To incorporate the expansion joints we added some “rectangular stones” within the flagstones. The final look is a seamless entry to the home.

Exterior Residential – resurfacing - Front Porch Wash Park Denver CO - Our customer approached us with the challenge to update his front porch which was beginning to show signs of age. We decided on using a brick border design to accentuate the curvature of the steps. For the colors we used both the light brick for the floor and the pillar tops and the dark brick for the edges. Both the porch floor and the pillars got a tile design. The brick design was used in the steps. The final result was not just an updated porch but a much more elegant and inviting entry to this beautiful older home. |

| Exterior residential - resurfacing – Patio and Front Porch – Stapleton, CO - These owners were trying to maximize their outdoor living space. They had recently added a deck to even out the back patio, in addition to having new landscaping. In order to renovate the look of their existing concrete we applied a decorative stone-look overlay colored to match the flagstone used in the landscaping and blend with the new deck and their house. We kept the overlay simple with no additional patterns. A brick look design was created to compliment and complete the already existing bricks. We resurfaced their front porch with a similar brick work design leading up the front steps. The brick were created in a size and color to compliment the existing brick work on the home. The final result is a much more inviting front porch and a warm and comfortable back patio to enjoy with friends and family. |

Exterior Residential - Patio - Parker CO - The challenge with this patio was to compliment the beautiful stamped concrete pool deck had installed a few years back. With our Stonecrete resurfacing material we were able to achieve a very similar texture. We cut larger tiles which replicated the expansion joints in the pool deck, and by adding accents of a dark chocolate color to a base tan color we were able to provide our customer an inviting transition from his home to the pool area. |

Residential Exterior – Driveway - Perry Park, CO - This was a good challenge! Our job was to transform the driveway that was nestled between two different stamped concrete paths, the older one leading to the entry and the new path leading to the back yard. The task was not to match but to complement. We kept the driveway pattern plain since both paths already have ashlar designs. To create a visual division we incorporated a charcoal border. We chose charcoal as it was the highlight color used in the stamped concrete and it also blended with the remaining asphalt driveway. The results are beautiful. The driveway is very warm resembling several large slabs of stone. The colors and pattern, even though not identical work very well together. Besides pulling together the existing stonework on the front of the home we were able to treat and cover some spauling on the concrete that was beginning to show some age. Our customers now have a brand new elegant drive that reflects the rest of their home. |

Exterior, Castle Pines, CO - Our customer was looking to update their patio and improve their curb appeal. They had stained the back patio and it was pealing. Image- N-Concrete transformed both areas with the use of an overlay system from Stonecrete USA. In the patio we created a tile design which helped conceal some of the expansion joints. In the front we added diamond designs in a darker tone that matched the brick work.

Residential-Exterior - front entry. This project incorporates Celtic designs to greet guests. Due to excessive wear the painted entry way was pealing. To properly correct the situation a cementious overlay was applied prior to staining and engraving the designs.
